The United Kingdom’s SpinVox has reportedly made a deal with Alltel to deliver speech-to-text message services to its customers. People who have this service are going to be able to receive all their voice messages as text messages which will make things easier for them.

More importantly for our American readers, the company seems to be trying to make a deal with one of the US major carriers. It would be great for one of these companies to get something like this for their customers.

The game-less iPhone is about to receive the very popular cell phone game Doom. I must say that Doom is a very good game and it coming to the iPhone would make the iPhone more fun that it already is. Hard to imagine, eh? One problem, you can’t control the game and it has no sound. Hmm, well that isn’t very fun is it? So basically, it won’t be out for some time, but hopefully it will be out sooner rather than later. Either way, this seems to be a great game addition to Apple’s iPhone.

iPhone too expensive? August 12, 2007

No worries, say hello to the Motorola Q9! Announced back in mid-February earlier this year, this 11.88 mm thick of computer, phone, camera etc. is most likely to be launched later this month. It offers many features as of the iPhone and may even be better for the business purposes in sending email’s as the qwerty keyboard allows a more convenient use of typing emails then the iPhone’s revolutionary touch-pad. It would be just to call the Q9 the LeBron James of Michael Jordan (in this case the iPhone) because even though its an advanced evolution in the Q series; however, the iPhone is the real deal with it’s touch pad mentioned earlier, style, and the huge popularity. Nevertheless, what gives Q9 the biggest advantage maybe the price tag of only $200 bucks (wow that’s only now)!

Actually close to 90% of Americans want texting while driving to be banned. Ever since cell phones became really popular, texting became just as popular. Since then it seems that wherever you look, you will always see people texting. In order to text, you would have to look at your tiny cell phone screen and then press buttons enabling you to drive one handed and quick glances back and forth. 91% believe that texting on the road is just as dangerous as making a call. I agree with these people, driving and texting or even driving and calling is very dangerous and would result in a lot of accidents. Let us know your input, feel free to comment on this post.
